If you want to know why I have made such a bold offer in the title of this blog entry, then take a look at who the airline have just appointed as Marketing Director.
Bruce Dickinson, front man for Iron Maiden is taking over as head of marketing for the airline. He is already a part time pilot for the airline!!!, and will fit in his new role in between touring duties with the band.
No disrespect to any of our current clients, but if Bruce wanted to meet for a pint to have a chat about our next 3 month PR tactics, or discuss some ideas for online advertising, I would not be working out if I was going to charge for attending the meeting or if I should put the cost of drinks on expenses. I would be buying the first round.
So, in the very very unlikely event that anyone from Astraeus regularly reads my blog, and Bruce doesn't already have an agency in mind for their next campaign, the offer is there.
